Humly Streamlines Meeting Room Management for Italian Fashion Brand

STOCKHOLM/VERONA – 3A Sport, a sportswear distributor headquartered in the Italian province of Verona, has officially deployed Humly Room Display hardware devices outside its many meeting spaces to accommodate room bookings and more in the workplace. Humly’s award-winning premium hardware solution provides 3A Sport employees with an easily accessible interface to book collaboration sessions, while its sleek design seamlessly blends into the office environment.

Upon meeting with 3A Sport representatives, the Satnet team suggested that Humly Room Displays would provide a flexible, easy-to-use booking solution with a timeless iconic design to offer a touch of visual class.

3A Sport represents iconic houses such as Calvin Klein, Converse, Nike, and Tommy Hilfiger, and company representatives expressed interest in installing booking solutions outside meeting rooms that mirrored the fashionable aesthetic of these globally recognized brands. 3A Sport reached out to Satnet, a distributor of video, audio and control products based in Turin, to help source a solution that met their operational requirements and aesthetic vision in equal measure.

It just so happens that Satnet has served as an Italian distributor of Humly’s workplace experience solutions since 2022. Upon meeting with 3A Sport representatives, the Satnet team suggested that Humly Room Displays would provide a flexible, easy-to-use booking solution with a timeless iconic design to offer a touch of visual class. Its flexible feature set would also provide value for advertising company events in digital signage mode during certain hours of the workday. 

Satnet worked with the 3A Sport team to mount the compact displays on a variety of surfaces, including wall spaces and glass surfaces adjacent to meeting room doors. All Humly Room Displays are controlled through the Humly Control Panel, which is connected to an on-premise Linux server.

The 3A Sport deployment illustrates Humly’s growing presence in Italy, amplified through its partnership with Satnet. The Satnet team has effectively increased Humly’s market visibility and brand recognition throughout Italy over its two-year partnership, emphasizing onsite demonstrations at local AV integration firms, conferences and exhibitions, among other educational resources showcasing Humly solutions. Gualtiero Anselmetti, sales manager at Satnet, says that the Humly brand is generating significant interest in the urban centers of Milan and Rome, where both large corporations and government agencies are increasingly leveraging meeting room and scheduling technologies to enhance collaboration between employees.

Humly Room Displays are compatible with Appspace, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365/Exchange, and Nexudus. Their open API is designed to enable deep, seamless integrations with other solutions in addition to Humly’s integrations with leading smart office and collaboration tools. The displays have been developed based on the security standards set out by ENISA’s (European Union Agency for Cybersecurity) Hardware Threat Landscape and Good Practice Guide, and CIS’ (Center for Internet Security) Cybersecurity Best Practices.
